How to master your school day with the right nutrition


A healthy and balanced diet is not only important for physical health, but also for well-being and performance. Especially during school time, when concentration and endurance are required, the right nutrition can make a big difference.

But what does eating healthily actually mean? Its about consuming enough nutrients and energy to provide the body with optimal nutrition. A balanced diet consists of different food groups, like fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy products, fish and lean meat.

Snacks during break are also important. Instead of reaching for unhealthy snacks such as chocolate bars or chips, opt for healthy alternatives such as fruits, vegetables, or nuts. These snacks give you the nutrients and energy you need without making you feel tired and sluggish afterwards.

During lunch break, make sure your food is balanced and nutritious. This means that you should opt for a meal with vegetables, whole grains and lean meat or fish. Avoid greasy fast food or sweet soft drinks, which will only satisfy you temporarily and make you feel tired and unfocused afterwards.
